ABOUT US

pdp Architecture was established in 1992 by our

Managing Director Architect Cathy Saldana.

Our work is driven by three main aspects: People, Design, and Places.
These summarize the entire nature of our firm, with our projects depicting people-centered design and good designs that elevate the value of places. Here, we believe that it is not just about the color, texture, materials nor the underlying engineering systems.
It is about generating a flow that keeps the design cycle going.

01.Research

Most of our work starts on researching sites, innovations and relevant technologies related to the project. Our Principal, Cathy Saldaña, has gained recognition for her writing and speaking prowess. She delivers lectures locally and abroad, mostly on her research work on Island Planning & Development, Hospitality Design, Sustainability and Design Collaboration.

02.Service Orientation

Geared towards meeting deadlines, surpassing expectations and enjoying the design process with our clients, to us, the professional service is key to good project execution.

03.Sector Studios

We are generalists in design but specialists in practice. Our studios intersect on Hospitality, Retail Mixed-Use, Healthcare, Island Development, Residential, High-rises, Logistics and Cold Storage, Civic & Government, Corporate, and Master Planning for Architecture, Master Planning, Interior Design, Project Management, & Island Development.

04.Client-centered Platform

Servicing our clients means we keep their needs at the center of the professional circle. How is their vision translated into our drawings? We manage platforms for keeping clients’ requirements at the base of our service pyramid.

05.Environment-focus

We operate with #SDG17 (the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals) and integrate these objectives into our designs and master plans. We study native flora and fauna, understanding the trees and natural eco-systems, the wildlife and aquatic environments. All of these blend with Architecture and modern building technologies.

06.TCQ

Every project begins and ends with Time (Scheduling), Cost (Budget Management) and Quality (Upholding the standards of Design & Construction).

WHAT WE DO
Take the world’s best services
for you

Architecture

The core of our services trace back to 1992, designing low to high-rise buildings that exemplify sensibility, stability, and sustainability. We specialize in designing Hospitality, Retail and Mixed-Use Buildings, and Island Sustainability projects. We have collaborated with diverse designers and planners from across the globe and have worked with a number of engineering firms that ensure the quality of our work.

Interior Design

From offices to residences, hotels to restaurants, and retail stores to leisure spaces, we have created interiors that prioritize flow and function. We work with an elaborate list of furniture suppliers, lighting companies, and material manufacturers to seamlessly integrate finishes and fixtures that enhance the aesthetics of a space.

Island Development

PDP architects believes in carefully understanding the measures of sustainable planning. We integrate this in our work, along with proper engineering technologies and appropriate building methods that enable us to execute projects that are sensitive to the environment. We carry this imprint in designing and planning for all our projects.

Project Management

The number of local and international projects that we have handled enabled us to master the languages of budgeting and financial affairs, timelines and scheduling, and quality standards. As project managers, we deal with issues and situations by carefully examining the factors that affect the general quantity and quality matters of every output.

Master Planning

Our expertise in large-scale design is a product of our training for Comprehensive Urban Land Planning, Master Site Development Planning, Estate Design, Hydro Studies and Mapping. We have crafted plans for both government and private clients, conceptualizing dynamic layouts that promote future growth and development for both the building and natural environments.
